Through The Florida Governor’s Council on Indian Affairs’ Education, Training and Job Services Program, we utilize public and private universities, colleges, vocational and technical schools, and apprenticeship programs as vehicles to provide customers (students) with a solid foundation of the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment in today’s competitive labor market.
We are committed to training each of our customers for a career that not only promises high wages and job security but also maximizes the use of each individual’s interests and aptitudes, and we believe education and training are the fastest and most cost effective methods to achieve the highest employability success rates.
It is our goal to help our customers move from where they are now to where they want to end up. To guide them on their path to self-sufficiency, we help our customers develop a 10-year plan – an online platform designed for students to plan for academic and career success.
If you are a Native American seeking help with employment, call us at 800-322-9186, or apply for our Education, Training and Job Services Program.
